Abstract:
The work described below has been carried out for the subject Observational Practices corresponding to the Master of Astronomy and Astrophysics of the Valencian International University. The objective of this work is to calculate accurately the exoplanet radius and from there determinate the composition and type of exoplanet, physical characteristics, orbital parameters, inclination and the location of the planet in the habitable zone of the star. The HAT-P-11b exoplanet was discovered in January 2009 by G. A. Bakos using the planetary transit method. This planet has been extensively studied because it is the second Super Neptune discovered after GJ-436b.
